NaLFA-SA – Following months of consultations, NaLFA-SA was launched on the 19th of March 2024 and represents members from all across south africa and aims to empower a unified and sustainable network of black farmers in the red meat industry for collective action to ddvocate for impactful policies, enhance market participation and secure resources: empowering black livestock farmers and address their needs.

WHO WE ARE

We are a coalition of black farmer associations and entities in the red meat industry in South Africa that serves to advocate and lobby for transformation of the red meat industry and contribute significantly to economic growth.

To have an inclusive redmeat industry that is driven by a majority of commercialised Black persons.

To Lobby and Advocate proactively for legislation and policies that enforce impactful Transformation in the entire value chain of the red meat industry.

2030 GOALS

Primary Producers

To Develop 20-50 successful black commercial producers in every province that are marketing at least 200 weaner a year and/ have a minimum turnover of R1 m/year.
