NALFA-SA News
NALFA-SA would like to congratulate Afasa and Mr Molefe Mohape as the New Chairperson. We are looking forward to a working relationship as black farmers in South Africa.
It is important that all organisation with the objectives of pushing Transformation in the farming space work together to realise their dream. Black farmers cannot remain within the periphery of farming. Instead they must participate in the main economy of agriculture in general and find expression in the value chains.
The trickle down theory will not work in the farming space. The broad participation of farmers from small stock to commercial and stud breeding must find each other.
The election 2024 provide and opportunity and a challenge at the same time. We hope that the change of political office will not affect any progressive steps rather fast track programs.
It is in this background that we hope the New Chair of Afasa will rise and address, lobby and advocate for the farming Society being member or not especially black farmers
Congratulation to Mr Mahape for his appointment
