OBJECTIVE:

to promote, supervise, and secure the economic interests of its affiliated members and to ensure transformation within the red meat Industry through the lobbying for government legislation, regulations and policies that promote transformation and industry policies and development strategies that promote inclusive growth.

Specific objectives

Encourage livestock owners to be part of a District association that affiliates with NaLFA SA.

Promote a spirit of co-operation amongst members in the observance of just and honorable business practices.

Collect, assemble, and disseminate historical, statistical, technical, and other information relevant to the livestock industry, insofar as it is in compliance with the legislation of South Africa including, but not limited to, the Competition Act, 1998 and Popia Act,2013.

Do all such things and engage in such activities as may be in the interests of members or incidental to the attainment of the aims and objectives of the Association.
